After introducing the Aventage range in 2011, Yamaha had huge success in selling their new flagship range receivers. It had a bountiful array of features, mind boggling performance and a classic Yamaha look. And now they decided to update the current Aventage range to reflect new and not so new technologies.
I will introduce you to the first on that will be released worldwide, the YAMAHA RX-A820...
Now the Yamaha RX-A820 will have exactly the same performance as its predecessor in the Yamaha RX-A810. There will be a more features now, and it will be 4K ready. Here is a list of changes being made:
- Dialog level adjustment added
- Audio delay increased from 0-250ms to 0-500ms
- 4K Up scaling and Pass-through
- I-Pod dock port will fall away
- Front USB added
- S-Video I/O removed
- Apple Airplay added
- No Party Mode
- HDMI Output to Zone B
- ECO Mode added
- Will way 300 grams less
Note has to be made that the HDMI for Zone B will show same content as the main zone.
