So
a whole new range from Harman Kardon is on its way to meet some of the European
and American markets. It was high time for the American company to get up there
with some leading companies in the AV Receiver world. Receivers can be as
powerful as hell itself, but it needs to be able to accommodate the buyer who
lives of his/her Smartphone (which is a lot of people). So finally, Harman
Kardon has come to the party. Hitting most world markets when most other brands
will push out new receivers by year end, Harman Kardon will for sure recapture
the market’s attention.

So
key new features will be the trend most manufacturers have been following.
Airplay will be added, which allows you to stream music from I-Tunes from your
I-tune enabled device (use a Windows pc, download I-Tunes, and use Airplay). A network
connection with DLNA will be supported, as well as Internet Radio. Wi-Fi is
another addition, although I do not know yet if it will come as a build in
feature, or will be with their “Bridge” add on which they used in the past. All
will be revealed in due time. 4K Up scaling and support, which all new
receivers on the market will have.
Some of its components have been sourced from Lexicon stable, so the performance should be fantastic.
I
am personally looking forward to hear this one, the power of a Harman Kardon
receiver with some features, should be good.
Some
specifications I have gathered from various sources, may not be accurate, but it will most probably not change.:
